That's not the joke, though - that's the punchline. (1) "Secure" and "Security" mean different (and often conflicting) things to different people. (2) Web browsers are broken by (details elided). Traditional solutions to these issues seem to involve yelling at people and/or escalating violence and/or ignoring the problems. But that's ok. It's not like any of us had anything better to do with our time, right? (For the record, I highly approve of many https efforts, but think that https everywhere would be an utter disaster.) -- Raul
