Hi all,

On a very basic OpenBSD 5.5 amd64 installation, I've grabbed the
amd64/etc56.tgz set from three different mirrors, and tried running:

% sudo sysmerge -d -s upgrade/etc56.tgz

Just to get an idea of what will need merging. In all cases, sysmerge exits
immediately with the following output:

tar: WARNING! These patterns were not matched:
 ./var/db/sysmerge/etcsum
**** ERROR: etc56.tgz: badly formed "etc" set, lacks
./var/db/sysmerge/etcsum

Indeed, if I run:

% tar ztvf upgrade/etc56.tgz | grep etcsum

It only finds the following file:

-rw-r--r-- 1 root wheel 11776 Aug 8 02:08 ./usr/share/sysmerge/etcsum

Ideas?
