Hi,
On 5.6 (I haven't tried this with anything older yet) my network card

Can I do something to use this card?
I can't find any mention of any other Intel device with a 0x8096
vendor id. 0x8086 0x1010 is 82546EB Copper, what does the chip
have printed on it?
That's what it is. I had been using the flashrd 5.6 image earlier..
and apparently this weirdness has something to do with that. Booting
from a fresh 5.5 install recognizes it properly and shows this message:
em0 at pci0 dev 8 function 0 "Intel 82546EB" rev 0x01: irq 11, address
00:11:0a:5f:eb:34
em1 at pci0 dev 8 function 1 "Intel 82546EB" rev 0x01: irq 10, address
00:11:0a:5f:eb:35
That's really odd... I cut/paste that line directly from the serial
console.. I don't know how it got to be showing 0x8096 instead of
0x8086.
Sorry for the false alarm! (I'll still have to track down what's
wrong with flashrd... as I want to use it.)
