I am using a keyboard and monitor. I can see noting in the BIOS setting that makes me suspicious, but then I'm not sure I'd know. At any rate thanks to all who've given advice and suggestions; I'm being requires to move on for the time being. I'll have to try later. I'll note here for interest that the box _does_ boot from the NetBSD CD also. Thanks -- Mike
