Well, apmd should help here. I can't comment on the T500, but the T61 has a built-in NVIDIA graphics card; something which will cause annoyances for you with OpenBSD. It might work OK with the nouveau driver, I couldn't say. I've got an X201 myself, and that works flawlessly, but then that had the correct amount of support hardware for me before I bough it. -- Thomas Adam
