Sorry for the quick re-post, apparently the whitelist checks the FRU P/N, and this seems to be the full list: http://download.lenovo.com/parts/ThinkPad/x230_x230i_fru_bom_20130410.pdf So, when buying one for a thinkpad make sure its FRU is in that list.
