Quite too much http://www.openbsd.org/faq/faq12.html#GenNotConf Nvidia crap. Eg. PMU is co-processor. Seems like you need drivers for these and Windows one doesn't count. But this machine is older and most of the widely used Nvidia integrated stuff does have drivers already. Or maybe it's true only for those new one and probably no one cares about those old one. Are you able to get output of 'pcidump -vxx' and acpidump which you need to process with acpica tools. acpidump -o acer iasl -d acer.DST
