Ports and packages are superb and getting much better all the time, but the users of one system don't usually explore other systems... This is one area where Open is currently ahead of Free. I assume their pkgng will do the things Open does now plus a few more, which we can steal from if needed :-) so thanks to porters a lot for all of your work in this area.
