it is not forbidden to think about why the manual says something. the lines of code in there are rarely "the only way" and thus they may contain different hardware names. look at the output of 'dmesg' and see which hard disk you have. it is likely you have wd(4) (/dev/rwd0a in your case) instead of sd(4). this is just a guess, you did not provide enough info. -- steven Disclaimer: http://www.kuleuven.be/cwis/email_disclaimer.htm
