yes, after some research, I found the kernel module is for a V4L interface for capturing video from TV-In. > (--) PCI:*(1:0:0) ATI Technologies Inc Rage Mobility P/M AGP 2x rev 100, Mem > @ 0x40000000/24, 0x41000000/12, I/O @ 0x2000/8 > (II) ATI: Shared PCI/AGP Mach64 in slot 1:0:0 detected. > > I switched the output devices using notebook keyboard shortcuts. my machine is not a laptop, and there is no such key on my keyboard. > I just found compiling this module too much trouble and I did not > really try to use this port, which might work for you: this machine is also amd64. the binaries are for i386 only. I did manage to compile the ati.2 modules with TV-Out support, but I cannot get them to load :( and, the sources for TV-Out are GPL'd, so, IMO, it is pointless to try to integrate those sources into OpenBSD's XF4 tree :( maybe if I can find the time and the docs, I will attempt to write a more suitably licensed implementation, but first I need to get a job. -- <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
