Running ntpd -s on my zaurus, I sometimes (not allways) get log
messages like

reply from ...: negative delay -0.000022

IMHO, potential candidates are (in decreasing order):

- a somewhat fishy aue0 on the zaurus (a cheap usb/ethernet adapter that
tends to cause lots of "usb errors on intr: IOERROR", but nevertheless
  does it's job).

- the ntpd from www.ntp.org on my i386 (used for my DCF77 refclock).

- a PEBCAK.

- OpenBSD's ntpd(8) itself.

The annoying thing is: sometime everything's fine, after a day
offline (and on battery) I get the above messages. Same for the
initial synchronization (ntpd -s).

Any idea where I should start to debug?

Both systems are built from -current (june 4th, about 19:00 UTC).
I'd the same problems with zaurus snapshots from may 18th, 23:55.

Ciao,
        Kili

ps: dmesgs (zaurus first, then i386):
