We are running an OpenBSD 3.4 host, which is connected to a 1 Mbps, (=128 KBps) link to the Internet through a manageable switch. However, during tests, we are getting only about 30 to 45 KBps at the OpenBSD machine. There were no other hosts on the link when these tests were performed.
Under identical circumstances, a Linux machine gave about 100 to 125 KBps transfer rates. We are keen to use OpenBSD on the machines in that network. Can someone indicate a way to resolve these bandwidth issues? Thanks, Raghavendra. -- N.
