Please apply for a freedesktop.org account as documented here:
https://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/AccountRequests/

and mention that you'd like commit access for the Mesa project,
as you're going to maintain the new OpenSWR driver.

If you're contributing a driver, you ought to be able to commit to it :)
