DEAR DONNA PLEASE POST THIS IN MEDITECH FOR ME. Dear Users, I am looking for an alternative way for our pathologists to enter comments on critical or abnormal results in Lab. Currently we are editing a verified result, since many times these are stat or inpatients on evenings or night shift. Our nursing staff is not happy because this procedure causes additional reports to print. Using the exception reports does not work because you can not edit to add the comments. I am sure someone knows a fix, Meditech was no help.
