I would think that with Meditech now making up about 24% of the market place for HCIS and growing that it would be a prudent business practice for a company supplying nursing staff that had a base knowledge of Meditech Functionality in NUR and OE. This way only facility specific processes would have to be addressed, thus cutting down orientation time significantly. If I were in the position to chose an agency, I would definitely show a preference for one that had functional knowledge of the software my facility used. Just my :twocents: two cents.

I was wondering if you look for nurses who are already trained in Meditech before you hire them from the agency. We are a company that places nurses and we're thinking about giving them classes in OE and NUR. We are wondering if you think this would be beneficial.
