Hi, We are a Magic site well underway on a conversion to Client Server. As we begin to setup the 1000+ printers in C/S on the MEDITECH Print Server the question arose can we utilize a generic "HP LaserJet PCL 5 driver" for all HP Printers? This would not be for "Local" printing on the PC, only printing out of Meditech.
In Magic, all Laser Printers (HP, Dell, etc) regardless of Model or Brand are defined as an HP LaserJet IIII. If this will work on our Meditech C/S Print Server it will make for a simpler and hopefully more reliable setup. Any pro's/con's or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks!
