Terry,
We are a CS site and we have the ability to have overrides hit the MAR or not.
We have the overrides hit the MAR and the nursing staff charts on that entry
created by the override. If it's a one time dose then we in the Pharmacy don't
enter another one.
We do acknowledge orders on the eMAR, but I'm sorry I don't understand your
question.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] eMAR and Pyxis Overrides

Hi! I have a list of questions regarding the e-MAR and Pyxis overrides.

Have you found a solution to Pyxis overrides appearing on the e-MAR?

How are you handling the duplicate orders (one from Pyxis and one when Pharmacy
enters the order)?

If you acknowledge orders on the e-MAR, what are you using for the ordering
physician when doing an override?

Thanks for your help as always!
