How to convert the case of fields with alpha characters

There is a standard macro which can convert alpha type fields from upper
case to lower case, or from lower case to upper case. The macro is
@Tr.l2u or @Tr.u2l.

Example:

If you want the name field from Admissions to be in all lower case:

xx.lower.case.name
DAT=FREE
LEN=25
[EMAIL PROTECTED]@Tr.u2l

If you want the name field from Admissions to be in all upper case:

xx.upper.case.name
DAT=FREE
LEN=25
[EMAIL PROTECTED]@Tr.l2u

Subject: RW question

Does anyone know how to convert lowercase to uppercase via an attribute
in RW??

We are a client server 5.5 sr2 site, and use RW to "reorder" meds from
our pharmacy(s) via a smartroute. The problem is the system will accept
a lowercase entry, but will not translate it to the uppercase RX number.

Any help would be MUCH appreciated, Meditech says they have the ability
to change upper to mixed case, but didn't think they had anything in
place to convert lower to upper case.

Thanks,
