We are looking for a solution to the problem of a patient being registered for outpatient studies to a physician that is not in the provider dictionary. We also have a field for the primary care physician to be cc'd and sometimes they are not in the provider dictionary. When either of these fields has the mnemonic entry of NOS (dr not on staff) nothing crosses the Meditech interface to our Dictaphone WordClient transcription system. We would like to see if any other Meditech hospitals have found a way to get this information into Meditech and cross it over to Dictaphone.
