Bill, If it prints a blank label between each patient, check to see if you have the print blank label between patients prompt set to Y in the Lab LIS label format dictionary for each label format that you use.(LAB,MIC,BBK,PTH) If it's more random printer related try doing a sensor calibration defined in the operator's manual.
