Hi L'ers, We are magic 5.5+ and are doing BMV/EMAR and Pyxis for a new client. As 'working as designed' by Meditech ,Override orders charge immediately on vending, no matter if the pha tool box is set to charge on admin/docum so all you can do is whether you want the nurse to see/process overrides for documentation on emar. Meditech says these tool box settings only apply to profiled orders.
But if the pharmacist puts in a follow-up supporting rx shortly thereafter for the override the nurse has the potential to document on that as well, leading to another charge, if billing on admin. What have you doen to resolve this inconsistency by Meditech in handling override or profile rx's , for billing by admin/docum? Thanks, Mike Michael D.
