I am sure that Meditech has a standard of practice for this, but here is what we do:
1) Leave the IP Address field blank. 2) Make sure the Node Name field is the same as the Windows system/netbios name and it works fine. My understanding is that Meditech runs a NetBIOS name query for the connecting IP. If the returned name is in the device dictionary than those are the settings that are used. If neither the IP nor the node name are configured, you get the UNKNOWN TELNET CLIENT screen.
