The favorite thing on our intranet is Deals and Discounts! We had never found an effective way to let employees know about "benefits" they are entitled to by working at Delnor Hospital. After consulting our legal team we determined that we could identify them as benefits without opening the door to solitation which we did not want. Below is an example of the discounts that employees are entitled to: We also have an integrated section call "All About Me" that our portal vendor and Iatric worked with us - this has confidential information that Delnor has on an employee, from home address and demographic information (that they can change and it updates Meditech), current pay, benefits they are enrolled in, deductions they have, a link to their job description, a link to their compentancy, etc. We have all the HR forms online, we will have a link to eLearning a directions page that has links to mapquest with the location defaulted in, recipe section, classified ads, calendar of events, Policies and Procedures, weather.
