For those of you live with BMV, is the a way to check items received in
a shipment from the wholesaler to see if the barcodes are attached to a
drug in the pharmacy drug dictionary? Basically, what I am envisioning
is a tech will open a screen/report in Meditech and barcode scan each
item received. Meditech will scroll through the ndc/alternate ndc number
for active drugs in the drug dictionary. If that barcode matches an
item, nothing happens. If there is no match for the barcode, then an
error message will display.

I guess this could be done as a custom NPR report, but I have no idea
where to begin.

Any ideas, or am I just dreaming? Thanks in advance!
