Has anyone had any luck printing a barcode in a format other than 39 or 128 from an NPR report. I was wondering if it would be possible to use an escape sequence to allow the barcode to be printed in a printer defined format. We are using Datamax I class printers, and the programmers manuel lists 50 or so formats and the barcode details. Unfortunately I am a pharmacist and not a programmer, so I do not know how to use the info in the manual. Here is an example entry from the manual for a postnet barcode: <STX>L D11<CR> 1p000000015010032569<CR> 121100000000100Barcode p<CR> E I am not sure how to incorporate this info into the NPR report. I am guessing this would need to be sent to the printer in a computed field or a macro using ^!, but I am lost after that point. Can anyone start me in the right direction?
