We also use RCR primarily with our Rehab department. Works well;
discharge monthly, and register anew on the first day of the following
month. We create a nice little scheduled report on the first day of the
month showing which patients were discharged. We also have used RCR for
recurring lab visits, which works well because it minimizes the time in
Admitting for those recurring outpatient lab visits.

We use recurring accounts for our Rehab patients. We discharge monthly.
We haven't had any major issues with the clinical department, that I can
think of. We gave them the Enter/Edit Revisit routine from ADM and the
department secretary simply enters a revisit when the patient presents
for subsequent monthly visits. I do remember that we had to lengthen the
amount of time in our ADM parameter "REVISITS WITH DAYS" to 15, we found
out our patients were discharging too fast and then had to be
re-registered.
