Currently, we have organized our interventions under 28 different FOCI and have set up our Plan of Care using the header of FOCUS (as opposed to problem/diagnosis) with associated outcomes and interventions.
We still use intervention headers in our Process Intervention screen reflecting the old problem/diagnosis setup and are considering a change to sort by FOCUS headers to match our Plan of Care and Patient Notes. This will help promote our philosophy of documentation by Focus. - One concern is that we have one Focus has as many as 90 interventions associated to it, while others may have as few as only 1. Question: Has anyone switched radically from one view/sort to another in their PI screen? If so, what has the impact been? Any suggestions?
