Financial/Administrative Applications Group.  I need an experienced Admitting/MRI analyst.  We have several initiatives kicking off in the Patient Access arena, and need someone who knows Admitting workflows, is good technically, and has the ability to facilitate group activities.  This person will also be provide some support for Medical Records (Meditech and SoftMed) and Abstracting (Quadramed).

 System experience/skills required:
        Expert Meditech ADM, ABS, MRI knowledge, familiarity with ADT
        NPR report writing experience, specifically from these modules
Specific experience/skills desired:
        Knowledgeable of Patient Access workflows
        Ability to troubleshoot ADM-MRI-BAR issues
        CDS experience (customer defined screens)
Analyzes information requirements in assigned area of responsibility.  Documents information requirements and all related processes in both current and desired future states.  Surveys resources available and consolidates findings in summary and detailed analyses containing appropriate relevant data, process, and network models.  Develops formal recommendations regarding the appropriate application of available technology, suggesting associated procedural changes and developing detailed implementation plans as required.  Assists in presentations to the Information Services Steering Committee as appropriate.                                                                                                                                                          

Facilitates the successful adoption of information systems by involving the appropriate users in all aspects of analysis from needs analysis through post-implementation on-going support.  Coordinates and facilitates work groups involved in the analysis, selection and implementation phases.  Builds consensus and develops workable compromises during the design, selection, implementation and support phases.  On an on-going basis, minimizes stressors and obstacles that might compromise a system’s value.                                                                                               

Participates in the associated business reengineering process resulting from the adoption of new technologies and processes.  Assists individuals, work groups, and departments to understand and adapt to new technology and processes.  Participates in the identification of processes requiring change and assists in the analysis and design of modified processes.  Works closely with the system user community to assure successful adoption and on-going satisfaction.  Assists with the creation of education, administration, and support services during and after implementation.  Specifies and documents support requirements and recommends appropriate support mechanisms.  Identifies appropriate curricula, user access, and staffing requirements to educate users and provide ongoing system support.  Assists in the selection of information systems for assigned areas of responsibility.  Modifies data and process models to identify the most desirable state.  Defines system and user acceptance test procedures and scripts, assists with the preparation of training and education services, identifies and document support requirements, and recommend appropriate support mechanisms. POS# 5- SENIOR SYSTEM ANALYST – Meditech/ADM  -  San Diego, California   $ 76,000K – PERM
This position requires the ability to create and maintain all B/AR (Billing / Accounts Recievable) and admitting dictionaries. Must be able to create claims from scratch and attach to all associated dictionaries. Must be able to write proration rules, including complex Medi-cal rules. Must be able to interface meditech with outside vendors including electronic billing early out and bad debt vendors. Must be able to bring outside information back into Meditech such as ERAs. Must be able to write NPR reports, including automating daily, weekly or monthly reports. Must be familiar with Meditech Systems updates.  Master´s degree with emphasis on Information Systems, Health Care Administration or Business, preferred.

JOB SUMMARY:   MEDITECH MAGIC – CLIENT SERVER
The Project Manager position is responsible for leading cross-divisional small, mid and large size project teams through all phases of the project lifecycle. This position is responsible for planning, estimating, and providing day-to-day management, leadership and administration of projects of any size and complexity across full projects' lifecycles, ensuring adherence to company project management standards and methodology.  This multi-tasking individual will define and manage projects at the task level for concurrent projects. This includes providing leadership to the project team(s) in order to establish accurate and comprehensive project plans, defining deliverables, as well as managing issue resolution and escalation, and customer satisfaction.  Demonstrating project leadership, Team building, Scope Management and Schedule Management and relationship management are all vitally important skills in this position. The Project Manager serves as the project leader, with overall responsibility for project management and project implementation, with appropriate use of resources for on budget and on time project deadline delivery.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Systems Analysis, Information System, Health Information Administration, Project Management Certification or 5 years equivalent project management work experience. Minimum of 5 years in a project management    /leadership role with the emphasis on Project Management or other relevant work experience. Knowledge in fundamentals of hospital organization, management techniques, JCAHO, HIPAA and Title 22 requirements are required. Demonstrated knowledge about project management techniques and guidelines, including the project management life cycle, business case, feasibility studies, quality and cost control, and contracting procedures required. Must be able to manage large, complex projects that span multiple departments and team members in a matrixed environment, with ability to facilitate the timely resolution of issues across organizational boundaries. Ability to organize and facilitate meetings and mentor team members on project management techniques and tools. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively delegate project tasks and to effectively interact with people at all levels of the organization. Must be able to work under pressure, following a plan and balancing competing requests by priority. Demonstrated policy/procedure writing, regulation interpretation, organization planning, education program development, facilitation, communication and presentation skills essential. High level of integrity and trust.

Ability to communicate clearly and make oral presentations to a broad spectrum of individual and groups, including senior management and to prepare concise and/or detailed written reports Experience developing and managing a project budget. POS# 7 -   Meditech Financials Project Manager  -  Chicago, Illinois  $ 40.00 to $ 60.00 Hr  Cont-PERM
The ideal and successful candidate will possess the following skills:
What we are looking for:
1.  A systems expert that has built or redesign the MEDITECH financial systems to the level that if
Asked would know what are the 5 most important dictionaries in PP and tell me why? In designing GL,
what are some of MEDITECH's flaw designs and where are its weaknesses?   
Someone that knows DICTIONARIES like the back of her hand and also knows IT.   
2.  Skill sets:  the ideal candidate would have built, managed, or redesigned
     the MEDITECH financials in the following order of priority in knowledge and expertise,
     GL, ESS, Payroll/Personnel, AP and Materials.
3  Have life cycle project management skills, but also be able to guide the end users to create procedures,  
   policies, and work flows where none have existed before. Will need to be an NPR Report writer. 
   Be a programmer in order to write and maintain Boston Workstation scripts and interface systems and 
  databases for conversion purposes.
