Title: M 5.5 SR1 PHA "rule"? questions
Hello PHA gurus out in Meditech L Land!
I have a couple of questions for you, which the simple answer may be NO, and if so, just let me know!
1) We have an intern now, and our RPH are verifying orders. Sometimes they accidentally press enter, and the order is skipped instead of actually verified. Then the medication is delayed. Is there a way to force the RPH to enter something in the verify box, rather than bypassing it? Is there a rule or something that I can create to stop the RPH before they just pass the order by???
2) We have been going back and forth on the direction question, of whether to have set times or not. So the compromise is that BID, etc will have times, while the Q8H directions will not. This means that the RPH need to change the times to a more manageable time than 1312 or something. Is there a rule to evaluate the direction, and fire the rule to remind the RPH to change the time, but only for meds that use those certain directions?
