We have printed a statement at the bottom of our discharge document that says that all bulk items will be relabeled and sent home with the patient. We have an outpatient system (QS-1), but would rather use Meditech's because the patient information is already there. What are other facilities doing? Are the pharmacists dispensing the items or have you figured a way for nursing to be able to dispense them and label them at discharge? Any feedback would be appreciated.
