Bob - All of our non-unit dose medications are labeled the same as an outpatient RX would be. That way, if the medication is sent home with the patient, it is already labeled correctly with the directions in plain English, unless the directions are different, in which case, it would need re-labeled. Our problem is that most of the time nursing just sends the inhalers and stuff back to the pharmacy instead of trying to get an order from the physician so that the patient may take it home.
