Hi,

Simple solution is to send orders to POWERSCRIBE only in "taken" status.

Hope this helps.

Hello L list, I was wondering if anyone had this similar problem. We
are Radiology ($T), version 5.4. We also have POWERSCRIBE as our voice
recognition dictating system.
The problem we are running into, is if the exam in not put into the
'TAKEN'
status, prior to dictation, then once it is dictated, it will not upload
to MEDITECH, there by, causing huge problems.
We have all the techs very aware of "logging" the exams, but some do
slip by.
I would appreciate any ideas or comments. Thanks, Vida
