The meditech-l web site is MTUsers.com ====================================== Does anyone have a good way to remind patients that they need to call to schedule an appointment. Currently what we do is either schedule the patient for a follow up before they walk out of the clinic, or on the day after the appointment our staff reviews encounter forms and manually enters the need for a follow up. We create a file and transmit this to an outside vendor (Televox) to call the patient and say something like "You are due for your annual physical, please call the clinic at ###-###-#### to make an appointment". I am looking for creative ideas on how to pull the data from Meditech Scheduling/LSS automatically without making staff manually enter something. I could do a report from SCH.APPT that lists everyone that had certain appointments during the day and write that to a file for follow up. I was hoping that someone else has done something like this already and has a good idea of how to address this. I have gotten a report to work with Televox for appointments that are scheduled. This if the call that says "Remember that you have an appointment with Dr. at time on date" If anyone needs something like this, I will gladly share what I did to get this working. Jim Sehloff M.S.
