Hey Meditech-L folks. We are recruiting for the following 3 new positions here in the IT Department at Johnston Memorial Hospital in Smithfield, NC. MIS Technical Specialist Minimum of an Associates Degree in computer science or a related field; Minimum of 3 years equivalent experience in information systems; Strong communication skills both written and verbal; Ability to analyze system related issues and effectively make decisions in a timely manner; Requires extensive skills in the technical field of networks and peripheral devices; Strong project management skills; Provide good customer service; Experience with Meditech. MIS Technical Data Manager Minimum of Associate Degree with emphasis in computer science or a related field, prefer 4 year degree and at least 5 years supervisory experience; Strong background in system security; Strong analytical, project management, critical, technical, and logical thinking skills. Strong communications both verbal and written; Experience with Meditech; Customer oriented. This individual will serve as the manager over the technical group of the MIS Department. They will oversee all technical related issues including networks, pc hardware, peripheral devices, etc. MIS Physician Liaison Minimum of an Associate Degree in area of Healthcare, IS, or Business Administration with 3 years experience in an Acute or Physician Practice. Batchelor's Degree preferred; Strong communication skills both verbal and written; Strong project management and analytical skills; Must be able to proactively work as a liaison to the Medical Staff in automated processes with Meditech; Medical terminology required; Experience with Meditech; Provide good customer service.
