FYI, we do compress the core to make it smaller and reduce i/o.  If you have
a huge amount of RAM or some kind of resource leak, you may need quite a 
large dump device.  The thing to do is to configure a dedicated dump device
of the appropriate size (dumpadm -d <device>), or if no single disk slice
is big enough use a concatenation such as that provided by SVM.
