Couldn't we use 4th to 10th ascent for major releases, then choose individual
names like the ones Karen suggested for intermediate/smaller releases?

I like these best. Maybe go alphabetical?

Some cool inspiration, "Mountain guide Ulrich Inderbinen makes his
370th and last ascent of the Matterhorn, before his 90th birthday"
(1990), wow.

The first is a bit ominous, "I see my comrades of the Matterhorn
slipping on their backs, their arms
outstretched..." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Whymper (1865) .
To the rescue, "Oskar Eckenstein asked Henry Grivel to manufacture
the first modern crampons 1909." http://www.grivelgb.co.uk/info/history/

My brother is an avid mountaineer and experienced the same slipping
situation with roped in climbers. They survived by using strong
engineered rope and holding light, short one handed ice axes, also
apparently pioneered by Oskar Eckenstein.

Innovative tool makers help climbers to succeed and survive. The Qs to
the James Bonds of the world. They would make good tag lines for
Matterhorn Marketplace along with the climber tags for the releases.

Hi all,

as we went to the open tickets, we found the one that reads "come up
with a tag line for 1.4". We started brainstorming and you can find
some of the ideas on the ticket. In addition, Xavier came up with an
interesting idea: Why don't we name the Matterhorn releases after the
climbers that managed to reach the top? [1] could guide us in chosing
the right names. This would immediately bulk-resolve all upcoming
"name the release" tickets :-)
