Quake 2 works no prob thru ipmasq machine. to run Quake you need to run
"modprobe ip_masq_quake"
1)Did you compile the kernel with MASQ,IP_FORWARDING etc?
2)Do you have your ipfwadm rules set correctly.?
3)Do your internal machines point to the masq box as their gateway?
send the output from route or netstat -r
send the output from ipfwadm -F -l
send the rc.local, rc.firewall or whatever startup script that you have the
ipfwadm commands in
What version of Linux are you using (RedHat, Slackware)
If you have done 1-3 and you are using RedHat try running:
echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward
then see if it works.
Not to be rude but RT(explicative deleted:-)M. That is where I got most of
this information from.
