I've trying for a while the same DCC thing, I can't establish outgoing
connections in mIRC.
When tried this step:
+ Under Category: Click on Local Info. Clear the text input boxes for
Local Host & IP Address. Make sure the checkboxes for Local Host & IP
Address ARE checked. (IP address may be checked but disabled). Lookup
method: Normal
The masqued client (mIRC) takes its local IP/host, making thus impossible a
connection.
mIRC gets: Local host: my.internal.org (192.168.1.2)
ie, when I try to connect via DCC to my eggdrop, it yells:
ALERT: ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) sent a DCC request
with bogus IP information of 192.168.1.2 port 1032!
I've also tried using the port= option when loading ip_masq_irc module.
Still doesn't work.
Has anyone made a mIRC client to full-work behind a masquerading box?
