Hari: 1. the implicit endorsement refers to that made by CK, the original poster, not the list. 2. When I had the bad manners to respond to a similar acritical reproduction of similar liberal bourgeois talking points by the same original poster, pointing out that the supposed "radical" columnist was nostalgic for the Yeltsin era of Soviet/post-Soviet history (when life expectancies in Russia declined by app 30%) moderator MB, challenged my "intervention" as pointless as liberal commentators can provide valuable information, and that I should provide an analysis of the commenter's arguments rather than point to an unsavory past. 3. When I did provide that analysis, moderator MB repeated his evaluation of the value of liberal commentators, and then suggested that I should refrain from exercising such negativity and simply be like him, the moderator, and ignore the issue. 4. So now we come the issue at hand: a reproduction of an opinion piece offering nothing other than Democratic Party talking points. Hence the question: Specifically what is the value embodied in such pieces and why are they reproduced here without an ounce of critical analysis? 5. And another question: Why would a Marxist list countenance such a practice?
