New Zealand then is like Sweden and the Canadian province of Ontario. Both have 
large amounts of hydro and in their case, nuclear (approx. 50% in each), which 
together allow for almost no fossil fuel burning at all. Sweden is now 
reconsidering its decades old ban on new nuclear. As of yesterday, Spain also 
just approved an overturn of their anti-nuclear ban. This is why I've noted 
that the world has shifted to a pro-nuclear stance and continues to do so. This 
is not to say that any of these countries have opposed solar & wind but that 
they are broadening out their low carbon generation sources.
