it's a bold and heroic idea, but what guarantees are there that Israel won't simply resume the bombing of newly built structures in Gaza with the knowledge that the US will defend it no matter what, and who (countries or businesses) are prepared to invest in rebuilding Gaza in partnership with Palestinians while knowing there's a good chance said investments will be destroyed? This barbaric racket the US & Israel are carrying out can't last forever, but any form of tangible justice and compensation is still a ways away. Who would be willing to make such an investment knowing that they could end up with no ROI?
