Time was, back in the day, when I was younger that I would respond to such preposterous posing with something along the lines of "piss off, you pompous peacock. Your self-serving outrage, manufacturing a supposed insult where there is none, is clearly designed to camouflage your inability to provide any answers..." But I'm so much older now, and if not more mature, at least inclined just a bit to a more measured response, so I'll simply point out that Tom seizes on the inapplicability of a single word-using "authenticity" rather than "comprehensibility" to relieve himself from engaging with any point or explanation in the entire response. I think that stands as its own, and most damning, critique. It's a pleasure returning Tom's "Goodbye." Hope it lasts.
