Almost half of Bland's documented sins of Trotsky is pre-1917 when Trotsky was a left Menshevik, well before Lenin was recorded as saying "Bravo Comrade Trotsky" in a 1917 public speech that a diarist recorded, https://www.marxists.org/archive/lenin/works/cw/pdf/lenin-cw-vol-26.pdf. Someone who believes Bland's polemic may have a hard time explaining how the party that hated Trotsky so much assigned him to organize and lead the Red Army. Certainly, it was one of the most important assignments the Bolshevik party could make at that time - and to give such a critical position to a person subject to Russian anti-Jewish racism no less.
