[Edited Message Follows] Not just to raise hackles here but for all of Stalin's flaws from the cult of personality to his often manipulated but well-founded paranoia, I as a Jew would not exist except for his leadership in defeating German fascism. There is much to learn from that era and even from Stalin -- the good and terrible, the successes and the crimes.
