I beg to differ with your false tautology, which claims IF nobody else has
formulated a viable program (a dubious claim itself but leave that aside) THEN
the PSL has a solution to the problem. Sorry but just because geocentrism was
disproven by Galileo did not make the theory of the aether true.

The problem is that, since a certain moment in the early 20th century, when
Zinoviev instituted a policy  in the Comintern known as “Bolshevization,”
American Communism has been slavishly beholden to the idea that a revolution is
somehow going to be accomplished by transposing Russian revolutionary symbols
and signs (the hammer and sickle) into our midsts. This is a wildly mistaken
notion because Lenin’s entire project was about the complete OPPOSITE of that.
Lenin’s goal was to develop a program attenuated to the national cultural
heritage and tradition of Russia, where the hammers and sickles were
specifically embedded for decades as emblems within their popular culture.

Peter Camejo understood what it would mean to adapt the revolutionary movement
to American culture without falling into the trap of the Popular Front:

Noel Ignatiev went further into this by advocating for the recreation of the
abolitionist movement and its focus on ending racial slavery.

Finally, remember Marx’s words from the Brumaire:

The tradition of all dead generations weighs like a nightmare on the brains of
the living. And just as they seem to be occupied with revolutionizing
themselves and things, creating something that did not exist before, precisely
in such epochs of revolutionary crisis *they anxiously conjure up the spirits
of the past to their service, borrowing from them names, battle slogans, and
costumes in order to present this new scene in world history in time-honored
disguise and borrowed language.*
