Ryan, When you talk about rising seas,I assume you mean climate change,along with accelerating extinctions,pandemics,and all of the other pestilences we all know that will bring.I have long since given up hope that any solutions to climate change will come from the US government.The answers will either be forced upon us from forces outside the USA,or simply from the markets collapsing for fossil fuels,even worse than they have already.The Joe Bidens and Nancy Pelosis of this world,have proven what out of touch elitists they are,who only care about a very small per centage of the ruling class,the rest of the planet,and future generations,be damned.They,and their progeny,will always find a way to escape a climate disaster,even if it means leaving a lifeless husk of a planet for somewhere in space.While groups like Extinction Rebellion's hearts may be in the right place,I have not seen any sign of their growth into a unified,massive global movement,which is just what is needed.
I like what you say about Howie Hawkins being the standard bearer for the Greens.I think they are pretty much washed up as a party in the USA.
