Personally I don't think that LO has to worry about MSO on Linux. I have to say that since Windows has the market share as it has (I don't know the exact numbers but we can say that it's over 90%) and most GNU/Linux distributions come "preinstalled" with LO (or are currently replacing OOo with LO), the marketing team should concentrate on Windows users. LO can spread on Windows, but can only spread on GNU/Linux as far as GNU/Linux's market share.
We should create a "library" like http://spreadubuntu.org/ where anyone can submit their works on their native language (althogh preferably English) and sources in ODF formats, so any of the community's member can reuse the material and maybe resubmit their derivatives, making global and local offline and online marketing easier. So think different. When (not if) LO will have a market share (and functionality) close to MSO's, what can MSO offer on Windows that LO can't? ;) That said, best regards K 2013/2/12 timofonic timofonic <[email protected]> > Hello. > > As some of you probably know, there are rumours about Microsoft > porting Microsoft Office to Linux.
