I know enough people at Godaddy to be extremely sceptical that this was malicious and would be rather surprised if they accidentally let someone else into your account.
From what you've described, it sounds like someone thought you (for some version of you) wanted to send mail from Godaddy's mail system and adjusted the configuration which is a fairly normal thing to do, except that you don't know who did it. Any chance someone wanted to do a little experiment or marketing thing, got the account owner's OK, and he or she didn't realize it involved surprising changes to the mail config? As anyone who's looked at a lot of DMARC reports knows, it happens.
