Such admins should be concerned for their jobs, for which they are clearly unqualified. I see no reason to coddle people who have refused to learn the basics of their job. Let them suffer.

Erm... They don't. Their users do as they get entangled in baseless excuses and heavy finger pointing.

I don't try to mitigate other people's personnel problems.

This has been a problem for 3 decades. Some sales flack at Microsoft said "Any idiot can be a postmaster with Exchange!" and it was as if job descriptions for mail admins started adding "idiot" as a mandatory qualification.
