was meant with a little bit of 'tongue in cheek', indeed. ;-)

Generally, I expect an admin of a legitimate xyz domain to complain to
me at my domain's postmaster address when they find out that I'm
blocking them. That's what I do when someone blocks my domain or IP. I
really do expect xyz mail admins to have access to some way of sending
e-mail from non-xyz hosts.

That is how it SHOULD be.

However, my perception rather is that e.g. the notion of a "postmaster address" is unknown to quite a few admins these days. And the next step for them to take is to care about their users. Which - also according to my (subjective) perception - becomes decreasingly important for them. Rather, they might advise their users that you, Tapio, are the problem and that they should call you to lift the block.

Again, all of this is highly subjective.

xyz is pretty much "associated with spam" so much that I would never
want to send mail from such domain.

I could not agree more.

Best,

        -C.
